The sickening letter on "Godhatesgoths.com"

I was thinking today, about the popular misconception of goth. I decided to do some research. I went to this website and found more evil on it than in any goth (christian or not) that I've ever met. I myself am a Christian Goth. If I do remember correctly the bible teaches of tollerance. It also teaches to love your enemies. At the bottom of the main page of this "website" there were two possible pages to go to. One said "parents go here", and the other said "goths go here". The letter that I read on this page disturbed me deeply. The very first words were, "Dear loser,". Now I don't know about you but that doesn't sound very preacher like because a reverand did write this. This letter was so, just so mean, that it made me physicaly ill just to read it in it's entirety. These people on this website were so severely misinformed about the gothic sub-culture that all they think goths are are a bunch of satanists that pretend to be vampires. But the thing that hurt me most about this letter was not the goth thing but it also made fun of mentally challenged people. It called them ,and excuse my use of this word at all, retards. That is so messed up.

Elmwood Cemetary Memphis, TN

Elmwood cemetary is in my opinion the most beautiful cemetary ever and I've been to alot of cemetarys all across the eastern U.S. It's so pretty. The monuments are magnificent. Some very famous people are buried here. The mosoleums are the best part though. Some of the designs on those things are so intricate it's amazing. Those graves date back to the 1800's. It's amazing to just walk through it and you can feel the history of the place. The best time to walk through it is when it's covered in snow. There's a sad part to though, it also harbors the graves of yellow fever and bubonic plague victoms, alot of them children and infants. Its also has the graves of civil war, WWI and WWII victoms, countless. So although there is the beautiful monumments and mosoleums there is a dark side of everything beautiful.

Mid-Town Memphis

Mid-town Memphis is a bleakly interesting place if that makes any sense to you. You know that kind of interesting that is interesting but in a very dull way. You can meet some very interesting people here. You gotta watch who you talk to though because some peeps arent't freindly at all. Now I'm talkin mid-town not down-town where the trolleys and big fancy buildings are like the pyrimid, orpheum, and the old abandoned Sears wherehouse (wich is my favorite). cause thats all downtown where the tourists are and stuff. I'm talkin gehtto Memphis the part they don't want you to know about. I'm lookin out the window now and all I can see are the other apartments across the street. Anyways I just thought I would inform you of this usless information.

Labels!!!

Labels are for cans of soup not for people! I had to change schools the middle of last year. I was content at my old school but then my mom had to quit her job and we all had to make sacrifices. I sacrificed my school and was put into a ghetto one. The first step I took onto those grounds begain my acsendance into HELL!!!!!! I was labled a Lesbian and a goth. (Where they got the "lesbian" thing beats me because I knew most of the people from elementary school and they know I am straight.) I even got asked out by a GIRL!One of my freinds even. I was so cheesed off by the end of the day I was on the brink of tears and wanted to punch about 500 wanna-be "gangstas" in the stupid face. Labels piss me off so friggin much went ahead with the goth thing cause I guess I am but still their perseption of goth and mine are two completely different things. To the I was some kind of devil-worshiping-suicidal-wears-nothing-but-black FREAK!!! But my first year at SMS was also my last so no more dealing with those peeps. But still doesn't it just cheese you off so much!!!
